Premier Modiselle to attend AWB leader’s funeral funeral

North West Premier Maureen Modiselle is expected to attend the funeral service of the Afrikaner WeerstandsBeweging (AWB) leader, Eugene Terre'Blanche who was allegedly murdered by two black males this past weekend at his farm near Ventersdorp.

The funeral service will be held as follows:

Date: 9 April 2010
Venue: ASG church (next no 25 Roth Street near AWB offices)
Time: 12h00

Kindly note that the media will not be allowed to attend the church service at 12h00 as the family has asked for a special funeral.

There will be a special media briefing to be held at 09h00 at the AWB offices situated at 25 Roth Street in Ventersdorp.

Police spokesperson, Captain Adele Myburgh has confirmed that since the death of the AWB leader the situation has been relatively calm.

She added that they will ensure that the security is high during the funeral service tomorrow from the early hours of the morning.
