Minister Ndebele to hand over bicycles to learners in Jozini

Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele, joined by the Chairperson of the
National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) Mr Andile Lungisa and other partners will hand over bicycles to learners as part of the "Ride to school bicycle project" and also launch the Integrated Rural Mobility and Access (IRMA) project.

The ride to school bicycle project, an initiative of the NYDA, is aimed at improving mobility of female learners by providing bicycles to those who walk long distances to schools on a daily basis. This initiative supports the IRMA project of the Department of Transport aimed at rural transport development.

The primary objective is to improve rural mobility and accessibility to social and economic activities. Media are invited to attend. Please note picture opportunities.
