Status of World Cup entrants to the country

Home Affairs Deputy Minister Malusi Gigaba will on Thursday, 1 July 2010 brief the media on the department’s implementation of its 2010 World Cup operations.

Issues to be discussed will include, among others:

* Statistics on foreign visitors entering South Africa.
* A report from the department’s airline liaison officers stationed at various international airports.
* A report on undesirable elements that have been denied entry into South Africa.
