16 Days of Activism Against Women and Children

The little Karoo town of Rietbron will come alive on Friday, 26 November 2010 when members of the Eastern Cape Executive Council, Provincial Gender Machinery and delegates from all district municipalities and metro descend on it, for the launch of the 16 Days of Activism Against Women and Children. The provincial event will take place at the local sports ground and will start at 09h00.

2010 marks the 11^th anniversary of the campaign in South Africa and seeks to take forward some of the recommendations from the 10 year review research and the stakeholder summit hosted during the 2009 campaign.Contact:
