St. Lucia disaster

This email from a reader comes at a time when the ocean and mother nature was gearing up to open the St Lucia Estuary Mouth Naturally ... It is obvious that human invluance has prevented the opening of the mouth by pure brute force and that land moving equipment was once again used on a beach to sensitive for public use by Recreational 4x4 vehicles.

Changing the beach area like this interfere with the natural flow of things and the taste that migrating marine species use as navigational guidelines. (ie Sea Turtles Breeding season October to April)
