Menacing hippo relocated

At about 23h00 hours the Hippo known as Vincent, the biggest dominant Bull of St Lucia Estuary, was darted at the scene of his crime and relocated by the KZN - Game Capture team. This is great news since Vincent become very familiarized with human activity and started ignoring fences and even clumsily bumped into three cars this month.

The public must PLEASE Take note that St Lucia Estuary is open to all Wild Animals and none of them are tame. If you stay out of their way peaceful co-habitation is possible and many more years can be shared.
